No, one of the key benefits of our pricing model is that we never charge more than the agreed estimate or scope.
With our extensive experience, we can provide an accurate final cost right from the start.
If a client decides to add more deliverables outside the original scope, we’re happy to discuss the associated costs.
In most cases, these late additions tend to be the most cost-effective part of the project since the primary investment has already been made.

The timeline of a project largely depends on its nature and scope. On average, a project spans 8-12 weeks from the first discussion. However, some projects—especially those with motivated clients and swift decision-makers—can be wrapped up within just a few weeks.
We also handle projects that may take over a year from start to finish. Keep in mind, our progress is directly tied to how quickly you’re able to move forward.

We have a distinct advantage in owning both our studio and equipment. Many production companies in metropolitan regions typically lease studio space and gear for each project. This ownership allows us greater control, familiarity, and flexibility—advantages that are often constrained. It also leads to long-term cost savings and boosts our creative freedom.
Moreover, operating costs, such as studio rental and equipment expenses, are generally lower as we own and maintain our own facilities and can package them as a benefit of our service.
Another unique benefit of Bairn is our full-time crew of twelve. Because we work together daily, we can operate efficiently without relying on freelancers or inexperienced hires. Our team takes your project from conception to completion, ensuring we maintain a clear vision throughout the process.

With our camera department services, we provide two cinema cameras, a range of cinema lenses (spherical & anamorphic), as well as camera support.
With our Gaffing & Grip services, we provide full access to our 2-ton Lighting & Grip kit. Take what you need and leave what you don’t!

It’s as easy as reaching out! Contact us here for any rental inquiries and we’ll reach back out for avilability & a quote. A certificate of insurance is required for direct rentals with Bairn.
No insurance? No worries! We also use ShareGrid as a rental platform. You can view our inventory / sign up here.

As long as your production needs! We offer rentals by the day, with promotional discounts for weekly & weekend rentals.

Our team ensures that equipment works properly before send off. We ask that our clients be knowledgeable of proper equipment usage prior to rental. In the case you experience malfunction during normal & proper use, we will issue you a replacement free of cost. In the case we cannot replace your rental, we will issue a full refund for your rental. In the case of damages due to malpractice or incompetency, the client will be responsible for repairs & replacement.

Yes! We offer delivery during our office hours (Monday-Friday from 10AM-4PM EST). Delivery Rate: $15 Minimum + $.68/mile.

Equipment rentals are on a “first come, first serve” basis, so our process of reservation requires prepayment for selected rental dates. After payment, your rentals will be locked in for your dates!

We ask that you or your authorized pickup person bring government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport to verify ID.

If you already have a script, great! We can start from there to create your vision together. If not, no worries. We provide writing services as well, working alongside you to ensure your story and project stay true to your vision!

Yes. Our team is mixture of union and non-union professionals. We are generally able to provide union contractors for most productions.
